Broadcast Journalist
About Me
I am a multimedia journalist and anchor for WLUC TV6 and FOX UP in Michigan's stunning Upper Peninsula. I alternate between the two positions on a regular basis. When anchoring, I also produce my own show entirely, among other things.
I began my career in May of 2019 after graduating from The University of Massachusetts Amherst with a degree in Journalism. My passion for broadcast journalism came to light my sophomore year, when I was offered the internship of a lifetime at WHDH 7News in Boston as a member of their Special Projects team. Under the direction of Boston TV news personality Kris Anderson, I earned Associate Producer credit on the EMMY award-winning series, Solve It 7.
Following my time at 7News, I interned at WPRI-TV 12 in Providence, Rhode Island. While I spent time in their Special Projects department as well, I spent most of my time shadowing the journalists out in the field. Here I learned the ropes of reporting breaking news, tracking packages, and practiced perfecting my on-air presence.
